Make your mark while you grow your career! We are looking for a LEM Analyst to join the Albian Finance Team. This role involves reviewing and attesting daily Labor, Equipment, and Material (LEM) submissions from vendors using the Maximo LEM System.
A key aspect of this role is using Power BI and Excel (including pivot tables) to analyze data, validate vendor charges, and identify discrepancies. The analyst must have a strong understanding of contract terms, employment agreements, and union policies to determine eligibility for payments, such as travel allowances and schedule-based compensation. This position requires collaboration with vendors and internal business units.
- Job location: Albian Oilsands, Fort McMurray, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 4x3, 10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday)

- Review and attest daily LEM submissions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with contract terms, union agreements, and employment statements
- Use Power BI and Excel (pivot tables, data exports) to validate charges against signed backup documentation
- Cross-reference daily charges to determine eligibility for specific payments, such as travel and schedule-based compensation
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams, including Performance Analysts, Supply Management, and Maximo Support, to resolve discrepancies
- Escalate vendor disputes to the supervisor when non-cooperation influences payment processing
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system upgrades to enhance efficiency and accuracy in LEM processing

- 3–5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in contract administration, finance, or vendor management
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting
- Familiarity with contract terms, union agreements, and employment statements to determine payment eligibility
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
- Experience using Maximo LEM System is an asset
