Job Description

Project Engineer / Project Leader / Applications Engineer required to join a global leading manufacturer of rotating equipment.

The successful Project Engineer / Project Leader / Applications Engineer will manage rotating equipment engineering projects from handover through to final completion. You will play a critical role in ensuring project success by overseeing timelines, quality, and client relationships.

The Project Engineer / Project Leader / Applications Engineer will ideally have Mechanical engineering experience, preferably in mechanical drives, gearboxes, couplings, generators or similar rotating equipment.

Project Engineer / Project Leader / Applications Engineer Role

• Manage involving rotating equipment, including gear units, couplings, and other power transmission solutions, from handover through to final completion
• Oversee project management for various rotating equipment projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
• Own the entire project delivery relationship with key clients, engaging proactively to develop, improve, and maintain those relationships
• Report to the Senior Project Manager and be responsible for the delivery and installation of rotating equipment on customer sites
• Manage project timelines, ensuring products, services, documentation, and quality meet company standards and client expectations
• Provide consulting services at customer sites and over the phon
• Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure project alignment and successful delivery
• Commutable to the office in Leeds.
  
  

Project Engineer / Project Leader / Applications Engineer Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of gear units, couplings, Mechanical drives and other power transmission products.
• Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Product Manager, Programme Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Leader, or similar role within the rotating equipment industry.
• Proficiency in parametric CAD software (NX/Solid Edge ). Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is a plus, with full training available.
• Fully remote, willing to travel to customer sites UK wide when required
• Mechanical engineering experience, preferably in mechanical drives, gearboxes, couplings, generators or similar rotating equipment.
• Full UK driving license.
