Senior Product Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Engineer (Product) based in Canada.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software engineer to play a key role in delivering innovative product experiences at scale. Working across both frontend and backend systems, you will lead the development of impactful features, solve complex technical challenges, and influence the evolution of modern software platforms. The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic thinking, allowing you to contribute to architecture decisions, improve development practices, and mentor fellow engineers. Requirements

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in software engineering, including demonstrated technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in modern software development methodologies, system design principles, and scalable architecture patterns.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale product features and leading complex initiatives from planning through deployment.
• Experience working across both frontend and backend technologies, with a versatile and adaptable engineering mindset.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and iterative delivery practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with experience navigating ambiguity and balancing competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and fostering technical growth within teams.
• Ability to contribute strategically to product discussions, roadmap planning, and long-term technical direction.
