✔️Hands-on architecture and implementation experience with industrial and cloud integration protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, OPC DA/AE, REST/SOAP APIs, file drop, and database replication)

✔️Proven track record developing and configuring middleware, adapters, and drivers to bridge shop-floor hardware and enterprise systems (PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, and industrial printers)

✔️Advanced multi-layer troubleshooting skills capable of diagnosing complex MES integration failures, device connectivity, network bottlenecks, and application interfacing faults

✔️Rigorous experience managing technical coordination with equipment manufacturers, MES platforms, and cross-functional system owners

Secondary (Good to Have):

✔️Experience working within highly regulated life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments (GxP compliance frameworks)

✔️Practical knowledge of automated release schedules, formal change control procedures, and version control management for deployment artifacts

✔️Experience optimizing data flows via queue management, data caching, or centralizing enterprise print management systems

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an elite, high-seniority MES Cloud Network & Solution Architect with 12+ years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end manufacturing integrations. Operating in a fully remote capacity, this consultant will build the critical digital threads linking physical shop-floor automation (PLCs, SCADA, printers) through robust middleware up to enterprise MES and ERP platforms. The role demands an expert in industrial communication protocols and cloud connectivity who can navigate complex multi-layer troubleshooting, enforce strict change control, and eliminate manufacturing downtime through scalable architecture.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️Architect and execute secure, resilient integration solutions utilizing API, REST/SOAP, OPC-UA, MQTT, OPC DA/AE, file drop, and database replication models

✔️Develop, configure, and maintain middleware layers, adapters, and driver profiles to establish seamless data flows between PLCs, SCADA layers, MES, ERP networks, and manufacturing printers

✔️Diagnose and remediate highly complex, multi-layer integration failures, device disconnection events, localized network faults, and critical application interfacing errors

✔️Author and safeguard technical integration designs and formal interface contracts, including message specifications and precise data mapping schemas

✔️Plan, test, and drive integration deployments through enterprise change control workflows, ensuring comprehensive rollback mechanisms and post-change validation testing are executed

✔️Coordinate technical technical roadmaps directly with machinery manufacturers, software vendors, and internal system owners to optimize queues, implement caching, and reduce manual intervention
