Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant with deep expertise in Hyper-V and Microsoft infrastructure technologies. This role focuses on infrastructure assessments, migration projects, troubleshooting complex environments, and helping clients modernize their on-premises and hybrid infrastructures.

The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging directly with clients, evaluating existing environments, identifying risks and improvement opportunities, and leading technical projects from assessment through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct infrastructure assessments and health checks for client environments.
• Analyze and document existing Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead and execute migration projects, including Hyper-V deployments, server migrations, Active Directory modernization, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, identity, and performance issues.
• Develop recommendations, remediation plans, and technical roadmaps for clients.
• Design and implement Microsoft infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Assist clients with hybrid identity solutions utilizing Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity assessments and implementations.

• Create technical documentation, assessment reports, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and client stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V architecture, deployment, migrations, and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
• Experience performing infrastructure assessments and migration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across virtualization, identity, networking, and server platforms.
• Experience with VMware environments and migration planning is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam.
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure, Windows Server, Hybrid Infrastructure, etc.).
• Consulting, professional services, or MSP experience preferred.
