Quality Assurance Analyst

Mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst

• Fully remote contract role
• US Citizen or GC required
• Must have experience with “mobile/API testing”
• This will be primarily a manual testing role

Responsibilities:

• Designs, documents, and executes manual test cases

• Tests complex API, web, and mobile based applications with DB components

• Estimates tasks and work with minimal guidance and supervision

• Provides technical guidance and training for junior team members

• Assists in all phases and types of software testing – functional, acceptance, regression, performance, automated, end-to-end, etc.

• Works closely with development team to identify and diagnose issues and resolve problems

• Ensures that all defects are documented, tracked, and updated during the testing cycle using the bug documentation software

• Relays pertinent defect information to QA/Development/Product team members

• Participates in Team Meetings to discuss team goals, tasks, and tools

• Champions best practices for QA testing

• Contributes to automated tests

• Performs related duties as required

Must have:

• Experience with mobile testing

• SDLC knowledge

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently, with limited supervision

• Attention to detail

• Great time management and organization skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira

• Experience with Azure Devops

• Experience with Agile

• Experience with Automation testing tools (Appium, RestAssured, etc.

• Familiarity with PHP

• Familiarity with Postman

• Additional testing experience: Performance, Load, Stress, Volume, Security testing
