Python Developer | Fully Remote | Up to £80k + Bonus
A well-funded technology company is looking for a Python Developer to join a collaborative team focused on building data-driven products and services. This is an opportunity to work closely with engineers, data specialists, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions that help clients make better use of complex datasets.
The company offers a flexible working environment, with a London-based office and strong remote-working support. Occasional travel may be required (likely once a quarter, maximum once a month).
What You'll Be Doing
• Designing, developing, and maintaining event-driven applications and API services
• Contributing to the infrastructure and deployment of services in production environments
• Following software engineering best practices and coding standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, data scientists, and product managers
• Taking ownership of services throughout the full development lifecycle, from initial design through to deployment, monitoring, and optimisation

Requirements
• Commercial experience developing and deploying Python applications across the full software development lifecycle
• Strong background building microservices-based architectures using Flask or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of event-driven systems, ideally with hands-on Kafka experience
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and cloud-based orchestration environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable Experience
