Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an innovative SAP AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-driven solutions within the SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI technologies, with the ability to integrate intelligent solutions into SAP business processes and enterprise applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

AI Model Development

• Design, develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models to address business challenges and enhance SAP-driven processes.
• Select appropriate algorithms and techniques, including:
• Machine Learning (ML)
• Deep Learning (DL)
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Generative AI (GenAI)
• Perform feature engineering, model training, validation, testing, and hyperparameter tuning to optimize model performance and accuracy.

SAP & Enterprise Integration

• Convert AI/ML prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions and APIs.
• Integrate AI capabilities with SAP applications, platforms, and business workflows.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to embed AI-driven insights and automation into business processes.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between AI platforms and enterprise applications.

Data & Infrastructure Management

• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.
• Design and support model training environments, deployment pipelines, and production infrastructure.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance throughout the AI lifecycle.

Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor deployed models for performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate model drift, data drift, and operational issues.
• Continuously improve AI solutions through retraining, optimization, and performance tuning.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, data scientists, software engineers, and product owners to translate business requirements into AI use cases.
• Provide technical guidance on AI architecture, solution design, and implementation best practices.
• Stay current with emerging AI, ML, and GenAI technologies and evaluate their applicability within SAP environments.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

AI & Machine Learning

• Strong experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI development.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of model training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment methodologies.

Development & Integration

• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML development libraries.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications.
• Understanding of MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, and production deployment.

SAP Knowledge

• Experience working with SAP platforms and business processes.
• Knowledge of SAP AI offerings, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, or related SAP technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of SAP data structures, integrations, and enterprise architecture.
