Job Description
We are looking for a pragmatic, sharp, and highly articulate Business Analyst to join our team for a critical, long-term platform migration project. Our client builds and delivers their own proprietary, enterprise-grade software platform. This project involves migrating the clients from a legacy platform to a next-generation platform.
We need an execution-focused Business Analyst who loves the core fundamentals of the craft: elicitation, documentation, and crystal-clear articulation. You will be the vital bridge connecting our dev manager, director, product owners, and account management teams to ensure no crucial requirements get lost in the day-to-day noise.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Proactively extract clear, actionable requirements from cross-functional teams (e.g., sitting with Account Management to map out data flows from our software into Salesforce for health support tracking reports).
- Robust Documentation: Own the creation of high-quality Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), solution summaries, and process workflows. You will capture verbal solutioning conversations and turn them into concrete, finalized documentation (e.g., defining email suppression rules and client communication workflows).
- Customer Journey Mapping: Assist in designing the tactical customer migration lifecycle. Map out the step-by-step communication and operational paths (e.g., when to call, when to email, and how accounts route to account reps).
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as the operational glue between development teams, account managers, and the Product Owner. Attend solutioning sessions to understand sprint planning and execution dependencies.
- Follow-Up & Lock Down: Actively chase down ambiguous points, follow up with stakeholders after meetings, and ensure all parties are aligned on finalized requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 5-6 years of solid, hands-on experience as a Business Analyst.
- Industry Background: Prior experience working within a software development or SaaS company environment is highly preferred. (Candidates whose experience is exclusively limited to traditional banking or corporate finance environments may not align with our fast-paced product culture).
- Communication: Elite-tier communication and articulation skills. Because this role is 100% remote, you must have the presence and communication capability to keep remote teams engaged, aligned, and moving forward over Teams/Google Meet.
- Technical Literacy: While you are not expected to be a software architect, you must have a strong foundational grasp of software development environments (exposure to PHP or .NET is a major plus) and data concepts (e.g., moving data between proprietary platforms and CRMs like Salesforce).
Tools & Methodologies
- Agile/Scrum: Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, sprint planning, and software development cycles.
- Project Management Tools: Highly proficient with Jira for tracking requirements and developer alignment.
- Whiteboarding/Mapping: Proficient with Miro (or equivalent tools) for mind mapping, process mapping, and workflow visualization.
