Network Engineer IP/VoIP

Tangent International are looking for a Network Engineer, based in Sao Paolo, Brazil for one of our clients.

Main responsibilities:

• You would be responsible for PoC test specification as well as the PoC or execution of IP router testing.

• You will design the revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing network performance.

• You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.

• Responsibility for commercial demonstration and trial commercial deployment of IP products.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience of maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting networks
• Experience with tracking bugs and problem resolution to improve quality of tested features
• Knowledge and experience with configuring and operating routers and switches
• Run tests based on knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP and SR
• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications or related area
• 3 years of experience in pre-sales activities or project analysis in the telecommunications sector
• Project Management or similar qualification is a plus
• Brazilian nationality with fluent Portuguese and English
