Junior BI Analyst - Remote

Gulf Associates is looking for a Junior BI Analyst to support our advisory team as we coordinate a major project for a regional logistics firm headquartered in Jeddah. In this fully remote position, you will help our senior partners organize and interpret the operational data arriving from our client's fleet and distribution centers. This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work on high-level commercial decisions within the GCC from a remote environment.

In this role

• Standardize messy data sets provided by our logistics partners to ensure consistency across our internal reports.
• Maintain and update routine dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to track key performance indicators for our active engagements.
• Clean and validate commercial data to support senior partners in their regional briefings and client meetings.
• Write brief, clear summaries that explain specific data trends and identify any missing information in our records.
• Assist in building visualizations that help clarify complex deal economics for sovereign-linked entities and private investors.
• Conduct basic audit checks on project data to ensure the firm maintains a high standard of accuracy.
• Prepare data exports for senior advisors to use in commercial judgment sessions and market-entry discussions.

What we are looking for

• A completed degree or final-year status in finance, economics, data science, or a related business field.
• Comfortable using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for basic reporting.
• Solid skills in Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and organize large spreadsheets.
• A logical mindset with an interest in how businesses operate in a regional context.
• The ability to write concisely and explain what numbers mean without using corporate fluff.
• Reliable internet access and the ability to manage your own schedule in a fully remote setup.
• A high level of attention to detail when dealing with commercial figures and counterparty data.

Helpful background

• Familiarity with Gulf business news and an interest in regional economic developments.
• Some exposure to SQL or basic database management through coursework or personal projects.
