■About This Role

The company operates under the philosophy of "Creating a society full of teamwork," providing products that support business improvement and information sharing, thereby transforming the way over 10 million users work. Within this context, the mobile application is essential for enabling users to access information anytime and anywhere.

In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing the Android application for the groupware provided by the company. Since the company's mobile applications are developed entirely in-house, the individual will be involved in every process, from addressing user challenges to delivering value.

■Recruitment Background

Currently, the company has about ten Android engineers.

However, the team still lacks sufficient Android engineering personnel to deliver value that leverages the unique characteristics of mobile devices and to advance feature development utilizing the latest Android technology.

■Your Role

The company has three distinct products, and it provides an Android application for each of them.

Several Android engineers belong to each application development team, where they develop the respective Android applications.

Android engineers primarily engage in the following initiatives:

・User-Centric Agile Development

They engage in development using Scrum, working in close collaboration with Product Managers, designers, and QA engineers. Their focus is not merely on building what they are told, but on development that is conscious of "solving users' challenges and delivering value."

・App Quality Improvement

They strive to enhance app quality by implementing techniques such as module separation (with a focus on separation of concerns), dependency injection, separation of logic and UI, and automated testing. Furthermore, they collaborate with QA engineers to improve and streamline testing processes.

・Cross-Team Engineer Interaction

The company hosts a community where internal Android engineers gather and interact. This community's goal is to improve the standard of Android engineering; activities include serious discussions about product consulting and meetings dedicated to expressing mutual appreciation.

【Required】

1+ years of experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin

Understanding of the architecture recommended in the Android Developers documentation

Experience developing with asynchronous processing technologies such as Kotlin Coroutines

Experience developing with declarative UI technologies such as Jetpack Compose

【Preferred】

Demonstrates ownership and takes initiative in addressing project and team challenges

Engages in self-improvement through staying current with the latest technologies, outputting acquired knowledge, and participating in study sessions

Possesses insights enabling rapid delivery of value to users

Experience with Agile development and Scrum

Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis to enhance user value

Experience releasing applications at a high frequency

Experience improving team development processes
