What we do
Merantix Momentum is a Berlin-based AI startup focused on accelerating AI adoption across industries through B2B solutions and publicly funded research projects. A core pillar of our work is enabling digital transformation in domains such as healthcare and manufacturing. We act as an external machine learning department, helping public institutions and enterprises unlock the value of data and AI.
Our approach combines state-of-the-art machine learning with rapid iteration and a deep understanding of regulatory, administrative, and operational frameworks. We build scalable, production-ready solutions that align with compliance requirements, data protection standards, and real-world institutional constraints.
The Senior AI Solutions Architect role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI by bridging cutting-edge machine learning with real-world administrative and policy-driven challenges. You’ll design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions, act as a strategic advisor, and translate complex regulatory and operational needs into scalable systems. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, governance, and execution, driving digital transformation in one of the most impactful areas of society.
Design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions for clients—architecting scalable, compliant, and production-ready data pipelines and AI systems tailored to administrative processes
Develop high-level technical architectures aligned with IT landscapes, ensuring integration with legacy systems and adherence to German and EU regulations (e.g. data protection and security standards)
Support pre-sales by evaluating AI use cases, contributing to proposals, and ensuring compliance with procurement requirements
Serve as a domain expert in client engagements, understanding governance structures, and administrative workflows to deliver measurable impact
Bridge strategy and execution by steering AI initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, aligning solutions with legal frameworks, funding structures, and operational realities
Collaborate with research and engineering teams
Drive thought leadership in AI through engagement with policymakers, participation in initiatives, and contribution to discussions around digital sovereignty and ethical AI
