About Alpi Technologies

Alpi Technologies is a Swiss company building Sovereign AI for the insurance industry. Our mission is to empower regulated professionals with secure, automated intelligence so they can make faster, better decisions, without compromising compliance or data sovereignty. Our first product is already live: an AI assistant that captures conversations to automate downstream workflows. Brokers using Alpi save around one day of work every week. All data stays in Switzerland, processed by our own AI stack, no ChatGPT, no foreign models.

We're at an early, pivotal stage: real clients, real revenue and a platform we're building to last.

The Role

As one of our earliest technical hires, your fingerprints will be all over the architecture. You'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of our platform and help define how we build.

Your key responsibilities:

• Architecting, coding, testing and deploying robust full-stack solutions
• Leading AI agent orchestration and designing autonomous workflows
• Monitoring and optimising Alpi's platform in production

Tech Stack & Tools:

• Backend: Django (Python), PostgreSQL & Firestore
• AI: Claude Code, agentic AI & MCP
• Infra: Docker, public cloud & GitHub
• Frontend: Next.js, React & TypeScript

Nice if you have it, that will give you a head start:

• Machine learning algorithm (random forest, XGBoost)
• data exploitation (rag, embedding, graph)
• local model (transformers, quantisation, distillation, fine-tuning)
• Linux: bash script, basic commands, installation

Who You Are

• 3+ years of hands-on experience across full-stack development, AI integration and software architecture
• Bilingual English/French: both are used daily with the team and clients
• You ship fast, iterate in short loops and prioritise ruthlessly, comfortable operating with early-stage ambiguity
• You care about code quality, but more about outcomes
