Principal Software Engineer

We're seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our modern, cloud-native technology platform. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced technical leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving innovation across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build scalable, serverless solutions leveraging AWS technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudFront, and RDS.
• Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and long-term platform strategy.
• Lead major engineering initiatives and drive adoption of modern technologies, distributed systems, and AI-powered solutions.
• Partner with Product, Security, DevOps, and business leaders to align technology decisions with organizational goals.

• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Champion system reliability, security, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale cloud-native applications.
• Deep expertise in AWS, serverless architecture, and distributed systems.
• Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise, including MySQL optimization and design.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, event-driven architectures, and modern software development practices.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, authentication protocols, and scalable system design.
