Job Description
For a large international organization in the medical industry, we're looking for a Solution Architect (Composable eCommerce) to help shape the future of a group‑wide digital customer platform. The goal is to bring eCommerce and customer‑facing technology fully in‑house and build a future‑proof digital landscape.
You'll play a key role in a 5‑year international platform roadmap, rolling out one scalable composable eCommerce platform across multiple countries (Nordics, the Netherlands, UK & Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium), with around 10 acquisitions planned in the coming years.
You play a key role in translating complex digital e‑commerce challenges into solutions that truly work for customers, professionals, and internal teams. You think strategically, maintain a clear overview, and naturally connect technology with business objectives.
You operate in an international environment and actively contribute to the further development of a digital, customer‑facing e‑commerce landscape, including integrations with multiple backend systems such as ERP, CRM, and PIM. You act as a trusted sparring partner for stakeholders and a reliable point of contact for development teams.
You design and deliver end‑to‑end digital e‑commerce solutions that align with a broader architectural vision and are scalable, secure, and future‑proof.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing end‑to‑end e‑commerce solutions within a composable digital ecosystem
- Creating future‑proof integrations between the e‑commerce platform and multiple ERP, CRM, and PIM systems
- Translating business and functional requirements into clear technical architectures
- Working within a cloud‑native, headless (composable) e‑commerce architecture
- Advising on technology choices, integrations, and architectural principles
- Supporting development teams during realization and implementation by providing architectural guidance and technical leadership
- Ensuring solutions comply with security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Aligning with product owners, (enterprise) architects, development teams, and other stakeholders
