Marketing & Content Associate


About The Company

Our Client is a B2B SaaS platform built for the startup ecosystem. We serve the full range of organizations that support founders: accelerators, incubators, university entrepreneurship programs, economic development agencies, and other startup program operators. Our platform helps these organizations run better programs, track founder progress, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Our founder, has 12 exits and is a TEDx speaker and author. We operate across five business units: ESO Program Management, Providers Marketplace, Advisors, Investor Capital, and Direct-to-Founder. The marketing team is lean and moves fast.


The role

This is a full-time remote position. You will be the primary person responsible for turning long-form interview and webinar recordings into a steady stream of content published across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and eventually TikTok.

The core of the job is video editing and social media publishing. Beyond that, you will handle a range of marketing tasks and occasionally support customer success with administrative work. This is a startup role, which means the scope is real and the variety is part of the job.

You will report to the Head of Marketing. All work is tracked and managed in Asana.


What you will do

Video editing and content production

  • Edit full-length podcast and webinar episodes recorded in Riverside and publish them to the appropriate distribution channels
  • Cut short-form clips (30 to 90 seconds) optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn video, and YouTube Shorts
  • Create video thumbnails using Canva and follow brand guidelines for visual consistency
  • Write show notes, captions, and descriptions for each episode and clip


Social media management

  • Publish content daily across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X using Postiz
  • Write platform-appropriate captions for every post, adapting tone and format for each channel
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence aligned with the content calendar managed in Asana
  • Assist with LinkedIn-specific content, including repurposing long-form interview material into posts for company and executive accounts


Marketing support

  • Complete ad hoc marketing tasks as assigned by the Head of Marketing, including content formatting, asset organization, and campaign support
  • Take HTML files prepared by the marketing team and publish them to the company website using Webflow (no coding required, Webflow editor only)
  • Use HubSpot to complete marketing operations tasks such as list updates, workflow adjustments, and email support
  • Use AI tools, primarily Claude, as part of your daily workflow for drafting captions, repurposing content, and completing tasks more efficiently


Administrative and customer success support

  • Assist the customer success team with onboarding tasks that are manual and time-consuming but do not require technical expertise
  • Manage your workload in Asana, keeping tasks updated so the Head of Marketing has clear visibility into progress


What we are looking for

Required

  • Demonstrated experience editing video for social media, including short-form clips for Reels or TikTok
  • Experience managing and publishing content across multiple social platforms
  • Strong writing skills for captions and short-form copy
  • Comfortable working inside Riverside or a comparable video platform (CapCut, Descript, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Canva for creating social graphics and thumbnails
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage daily publishing without close supervision
  • Comfortable working inside a project management tool such as Asana to track and report on your work


Preferred

  • Experience with Webflow at the editor level (adding content to existing pages, no development required)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot for basic marketing operations tasks
  • Experience working with AI tools, particularly Claude or similar, as part of a content workflow
  • Experience with Postiz or another social media scheduling platform
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities shift and tasks vary


Tools you will use

Riverside (video recording and editing), Canva (thumbnails and graphics), Postiz (social scheduling), Asana (project management and task tracking), HubSpot (marketing operations), Webflow (website content publishing), Claude (AI-assisted workflows).


How we work

We are fully remote. Everyone on the team works asynchronously across time zones. We use Asana to manage all projects and tasks. The Head of Marketing sets priorities, assigns work through the content calendar, and reviews output. You are expected to own your queue and keep your tasks current so there is no need for status meetings.

We move quickly, we use AI tools throughout our workflow, and we expect the same from the people we hire. If you already build your own shortcuts and workflows using tools like Claude, that is a strong signal you will do well here.
