About The Role

This position is remote and aligns to European timezone. As a Remote Customer Service Representative at Recruitroo, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our users, embodying our values of empathy, innovation, and professionalism. Your role is vital in ensuring our clients and candidates receive exceptional support throughout their journey with our platform. You will handle a variety of customer inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, guide new users through onboarding processes, and act as a voice of the customer within our organization. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing user satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships, and continuously improving our service offerings.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of customer support experience, ideally within SaaS or technology-driven environments. Exceptional written and spoken English skills are essential, with a clear, friendly, and professional communication style. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to diagnose issues and guide customers through solutions effectively. Experience with support tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or similar platforms is required. Additionally, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, remote setting is crucial.

Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRTech solutions, or recruitment processes. Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or web-based products is advantageous. Prior experience working remotely or within asynchronous teams across different time zones will be considered a plus, as it aligns with our flexible working model.

Responsibilities

  • Support & Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and occasional phone support, adhering to established SLAs. Diagnose and resolve product usage issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Onboarding & Education: Assist new users during platform setup, guiding them through onboarding processes. Maintain and develop comprehensive knowledge-base content, FAQs, and help documentation to facilitate self-service support.
  • Customer Advocacy: Collect and analyze user feedback, alerting product and engineering teams to recurring issues or feature requests. Represent the customer voice in team discussions, contributing to product improvements.
  • Account Management Assistance: Support the account management team with usage checks, renewal reminders, and proactive outreach to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to communicate customer challenges, needs, and expectations, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
