About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in scaling and enhancing the quality of high-impact media and streaming platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing automation frameworks from scratch, refining QA processes, and collaborating closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, driving QA strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality web and API releases. Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability and performance of our media workflows, including playback, ads, content delivery, and user flows. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality assurance landscape within a cutting-edge streaming platform, working remotely with a talented and driven team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles, with a proven track record of building and maintaining automation frameworks. Strong proficiency with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar is essential. Candidates should possess extensive experience with API testing, including RESTful services and authentication mechanisms. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins is required, along with a solid understanding of test architecture and best practices. Experience working within monorepo environments is a plus. Excellent communication skills, a strong ownership mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are critical for success. Candidates with prior experience in media and streaming platforms—particularly in areas like video playback (HLS, DASH), DRM content, ad insertion, and testing connected TV or mobile streaming apps—will have a distinct advantage.

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies.
