The Role
Agency Collective is hiring an Email & SMS Marketing Manager to own lifecycle execution across our portfolio of niche agencies and the client brands we serve — spanning telehealth, supplements, subscriptions, beauty, and e-commerce.
You'll own day-to-day campaign and flow execution, segmentation, deployment, and performance across email and SMS. Lifecycle is a primary revenue lever for our clients, and this role is where strategy becomes shipped work that drives retention, subscription growth, and customer lifetime value.
Precision is everything. You'll be managing sends across multiple brands and client accounts where errors compound quickly across deliverability, revenue, and trust. This position demands obsessive attention to detail, rigorous QA, and zero-defect execution.
What You'll Do
Campaign & Flow Execution
- Build, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns across Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Brevo against lifecycle roadmaps for multiple client accounts
- Build and maintain automated flows — welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, browse and cart abandonment, and review request sequences across all platforms
- Manage send schedules and calendar coordination across promotional, lifecycle, and transactional sends for multiple brands simultaneously
- Build dynamic content and personalization that adapts based on customer attributes and platform capabilities
- Execute against subscription milestones in coordination with Recharge, Shopify Plus, and WooCommerce events
- Develop and optimize on-site lead capture and subscriber acquisition flows, including pop-ups, post-purchase opt-ins, and incentive structures that grow lists while protecting deliverability

Tagging, Segmentation & Targeting
- Design, build, and maintain robust tagging architectures and customer property structures across Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Brevo to power precise segmentation
- Build and maintain customer segments based on behavioral, transactional, subscription, and tag-based attributes across client accounts
- Apply segmentation logic to maximize relevance and minimize over-mailing — ensuring the right message reaches the right customer at the right time
- Establish consistent tagging conventions across platforms and client accounts so data stays clean, portable, and actionable
- Partner with leadership on cohort definitions, audience strategy, and lifecycle stage mapping
Deliverability, QA & Hygiene
- Own inbox placement, sender reputation, and deliverability monitoring across all accounts
- Maintain list hygiene — bounce management, unsubscribe handling, and re-engagement protocols
- Own and maintain a documented pre-send QA checklist applied to every campaign and flow, including rendering tests, link checks, personalization validation, segmentation review, and audience size confirmation
- Ensure compliance with FTC, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and SMS regulatory requirements — especially critical in the health, supplement, and telehealth verticals we serve
Platform Administration & Client Onboarding
- Serve as platform administrator across Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Brevo — including user management, integration health, and platform-wide configuration
- Own the end-to-end client onboarding process for WooCommerce stores onto Omnisend and Brevo, including plugin setup, data syncing, tagging structure, flow migration, and go-live QA
- Manage WooCommerce integrations to ensure accurate customer data, order events, and subscription triggers flow cleanly into email and SMS platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues across teams
- Maintain technical documentation for flow architecture, segment logic, onboarding SOPs, and integration mappings
Data, Testing & Reporting
- Reconcile data across Klaviyo, Omnisend, Brevo, Recharge, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, and attribution platforms to ensure reporting accuracy
- Own the accuracy of all campaign and flow performance metrics surfaced to leadership and clients
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between platform-level data and overall reporting
- Execute A/B tests — subject lines, send times, content, and offers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with creative, copy, and strategy teams on briefs, revisions, and final approvals before deployment
- Partner with media buying and paid acquisition teams to align lifecycle touchpoints with top-of-funnel activity
- Collaborate across sub-agencies to share learnings, templates, and best practices that elevate execution portfolio-wide

Qualifications
- 3–5+ years executing email and SMS marketing programs, ideally at a DTC brand or agency in health, wellness, beauty, supplements, or consumables
- Deep hands-on expertise across Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Brevo — including advanced flow architecture, dynamic segmentation, tagging systems, deliverability optimization, A/B testing, and performance analytics
- Hands-on experience onboarding clients from WooCommerce onto Omnisend and/or Brevo — including plugin configuration, data sync, tagging setup, and flow buildout
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, and Recharge in a subscription DTC context
- Proficient with HTML and CSS for email template customization and rendering troubleshooting
- Power user of Excel, Google Sheets, and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, or comparable) for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- Demonstrated procedural QA discipline — documented checklists, defined processes, not just personal carefulness — with a track record of clean execution at scale
- Experience reconciling data across email, subscription, e-commerce, and attribution platforms
- Solid understanding of compliance for email and SMS marketing (FTC, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Comfortable working independently against a roadmap while staying tightly aligned with leadership
- Remote-first mindset with strong written communication
