About the Role

Velorona LLC is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position for candidates located in Nepal, offering the opportunity to work on challenging projects with modern technologies while collaborating with a talented team of engineers.

Position Details

• Location: Remote
• Work Schedule: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM NPT, 5 days per week
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Experience Level: Senior (4+ years) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, and Express
• Architect robust system solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries using Prisma ORM
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality standards are maintained
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Work independently on complex tasks while contributing effectively to team objectives

• Participate in system architecture decisions and technical planning

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack applications
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Next.js framework and server-side rendering
• Backend development expertise with Node.js and Express.js
• Database experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with Prisma ORM for database management
• Solid understanding of system architecture and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript in production environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
