Job Description
Senior Business Process Analyst
Location: Remote (US) | Type: Full Time | Experience: 10 to 20+ years
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Business Process Analyst to help shape how a major federal healthcare modernization program moves to the cloud. The work sits at the intersection of process design, change management, and large-scale program delivery, and the person in this seat will be the trusted advisor the client leans on when decisions get hard.
You'll partner closely with engineering, product, and program teams to map current-state processes, identify gaps, and design future-state workflows that actually get adopted. This program operates at the scale where Agile alone doesn't cut it, so you'll be applying SAFe to align strategy across portfolios while keeping the work iterative and grounded.
If you've spent your career delivering process improvement that never quite lands inside large institutions, this role is for the analyst who has finally figured out how to make it stick.
What You'll Do
- Lead current-state, gap, and benchmarking analyses across complex enterprise processes, then design the future state with adoption in mind
- Develop business processes, policies, roles, performance metrics, and the artifacts (specs, user stories, use cases, process flows) that make them real
- Drive change management and transition planning across teams that span engineering, operations, and program management
- Apply Agile and SAFe to align strategy, manage portfolios, and improve delivery across multiple teams
- Translate technical detail into business language for non-technical stakeholders, and the other way around
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with client leadership and operating entities
- Provide oversight on quality, compliance, and the governance side of program delivery
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the team's bench

Why Join Us
You'll work alongside a senior team that has been doing federal program delivery long enough to know what gets adopted and what gets shelved. The customer is a major federal healthcare mission with real scale, real complexity, and real consequences for the people on the other end of the system. Process work here actually matters.
The role is fully remote, and the team gives senior analysts the autonomy to drive their workstreams without being managed line by line.
