Software Developer (Laravel/PHP - Remote)

We’re looking for a Software Developer with strong Laravel/PHP experience to support the ongoing development and maintenance of a long-term SaaS platform environment. This is a fully remote, high-ownership role focused on backend development, problem-solving, and contributing to technical improvements across the platform.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST | Remote

Flexibility is required, as occasional extended hours

What You’ll Do

· Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using Laravel and PHP.

· Support ongoing platform enhancements, feature development, and system maintenance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional team members to implement scalable technical solutions.

· Optimize application performance and database interactions.

· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following development best practices.

· Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, production issues, and technical challenges.

· Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas for platform improvements.

·Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with the team.

· Assist with API integrations and backend service development.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives, including exploration of AI-related workflows and tools.

What We’re Looking For

· 4–8 years of professional experience in PHP development.

· Strong hands-on experience with Laravel.

· Solid understanding of MySQL and database optimization concepts.

· Experience working with APIs and backend integrations.

· Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Experience supporting and maintaining existing applications.

· Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment.

· English communication skills required.

Preferred (Plus)

· Experience working in SaaS or product-based environments.

· Exposure to AI tools, automations, or workflow optimization.

· Experience working with U.S.-based teams.

· Familiarity with cloud environments or deployment workflows.
