Within the Perioperative Services and Operating Room, the Nurse Manager Surgical Services will lead a program where surgical services offer top-tier care, ranked in the top 2% of hospitals nationwide (2024 Healthgrades) with a Level III Trauma Center. Reporting directly to the Director of Perioperative Services and partnering closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Surgical Services will guide OR, PACU, Pre-Op, and Ambulatory Surgery operations, collaborate with Sterile Processing, and support anesthesia and surgeon partners; responsibilities include staffing and scheduling optimization, block-time stewardship, OR throughput, case-mix growth, accreditation readiness, quality and safety initiatives, infection prevention, budget oversight, and evidence-based practice adoption—while enjoying educator support, simulation resources, and a collegial environment of friendly nurses and a diverse team of technologists, APPs, pharmacists, PT/OT, case management, and social work professionals dedicated to shared success.
