About the Role
We are looking for a C Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on systems programming, low-level software engineering, embedded systems, and high-performance computing workflows.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to C programming, memory management, operating systems, embedded applications, APIs, and performance optimization, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world engineering challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for intelligent coding assistants, embedded technologies, operating systems, firmware development, and scalable software infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated C code and software engineering outputs
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for code quality, memory efficiency, performance, maintainability, and system reliability
- Identify bugs, unsafe memory handling, inefficient logic, architecture gaps, or optimization opportunities in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving systems programming, embedded systems, firmware logic, APIs, and performance-critical applications
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on intelligent coding and C-based software development workflows

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C programming and low-level software development
- Strong understanding of pointers, memory management, data structures, operating systems, and debugging techniques
- Familiarity with Linux systems, embedded development, multithreading, and performance optimization concepts
- Experience with firmware development, device drivers, networking, or systems-level programming is preferred
- Understanding of version control systems, testing workflows, and software engineering best practices is a plus
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
