Founding Full-Stack Engineer | NYC (On-site)

An extremely well-funded, high-growth startup operating at the intersection of AI + healthcare is looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of compliant AI infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

The company is already working with 50+ pharmaceutical brands and is building systems that allow pharma organizations to launch campaigns dramatically faster using LLM-powered workflows, automation, and enterprise-grade infrastructure.

This is a true 0→1 engineering opportunity with massive ownership and direct collaboration with the founding team.

What you’ll be working on:

• Building scalable backend services with FastAPI

• Deploying LLM / RAG / agentic workflows into production

• Designing background job systems with Celery + Redis

• AWS infrastructure, autoscaling & deployment pipelines

• OCR, embeddings & large-scale document processing

• Enterprise integrations across platforms like Adobe, Figma & Veeva

• Contributing across the stack with Next.js where needed

Ideal background:

• Strong full-stack engineering experience

• Python, FastAPI, Docker, AWS

• Experience building or experimenting with GPT / Claude / Gemini workflows

• Strong product ownership & startup mentality

• Comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous environments

• Passion for building production-grade AI systems
