Take2 Consulting is seeking a qualified Oracle Web Administrator to support of a secure customer located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). The overall program that this role supports aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains internal and external websites in collaboration with web developers.
- Reviews web content, links, and design; provides necessary updates and enhancements in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain WebLogic server environments, including domains, managed servers, and clusters.
- Monitor and tune WebLogic server performance, including JVM optimization, connection pool configuration, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
- Manage WebLogic security, including configurating LDAP authentication, implementing SSL, and setting up user roles and permissions.
- Deploy and manage J2EE applications on WebLogic servers, ensuring high availability, load balancing, and failover functionality
- Implements appropriate security measures such as firewalls or message encryption.
- Manages internet and/or intranet infrastructure including but not limited to web, file transfer protocol (FTP), mail servers, and news.
- Identifies useful site performance metrics; collects, tracks, records, compiles, analyzes, and reports site usage data.
- Conducts user testing and use analysis to assess usability and effectiveness of site; recommends improvements based on analysis.
- Discusses, analyzes, reviews, and resolves usability issues in conjunction with development teams.
- Communicates with site visitors and users regarding site updates, anticipated and unanticipated downtime, and resolution of bugs and outages.
- Drafts, documents, and implements backup, recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field with two (2) or more years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree or a PhD may be substituted.
- Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
- Current Security+ certification
- Experience with the following:
- Java and J2EE fundamentals
- Linux/Unix and Windows OS for server management
- JVM tuning
- HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP protocols
- Effective communication and collaboration skills are required for interfacing with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Windows base applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
