Location: UK Wide (Remote / Home Based)

Salary: £12 – £15 per hour (£23,400 – £29,250 per annum equivalent, based on a 37.5-hour week)

About the Opportunity

Vita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a UK business expanding its SEO capability. We are looking to appoint a Junior SEO Specialist on a part-time, fully remote basis. This is suited to candidates at the early stage of their SEO career who are eager to develop within a structured team.

About the Role

The Junior SEO Specialist will support the SEO team across keyword research, content optimisation, basic technical checks, and reporting, providing valuable assistance across day-to-day SEO activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research under the guidance of the SEO Manager
• Support on-page optimisation tasks across blog posts and web pages
• Carry out basic technical SEO checks and flag issues for senior review
• Help prepare SEO performance reports and dashboards

• Support link-building research and outreach administration
• Maintain organised SEO records, keyword maps, and audit logs
• Stay current with SEO basics and search engine guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page, technical)
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud platforms
• Self-motivated and reliable in a part-time remote setting
• Curious mindset with an interest in search and content
• A stable home internet connection and a quiet workspace

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Some exposure to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or SEO browser extensions
• Completed or studying towards a digital marketing qualification
