Cloud Operations and Development Lead

The Role

• Lead and build operations and development teams for a new European Sovereign Cloud initiative.

• Oversee the launch of a new sovereign cloud offering in 2025, ensuring high availability for EU customers.

• Collaborate with global technology teams to enhance day-to-day operations of cloud services.

• Drive improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of cloud infrastructure.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve incidents outside of standard working hours.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related IT discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• EU member state nationality and EU residency are required.

• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript).

• Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.

• Experience operating services in cloud environments, preferably with a focus on high availability and performance tuning.
