Senior Infrastructure Engineer - AI Data Platform

A Senior Infrastructure Engineer is required for a fast-growing Series A AI company — $34M raised, 40 people, and already the go-to data infrastructure partner for some of the most recognised names in AI.

$250K–$350K base. Up to $100K performance bonus. Competitive equity.

You'll own the core shared infrastructure: the platform that every internal team builds on. Distributed systems, high-throughput pipelines, human-in-the-loop tooling, eval infrastructure. Real ownership, real scale — processing massive datasets for agentic and hard reasoning workflows.

The stack: Node.js, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, GCP

What you'll need:

• 6–10 years in platform/infrastructure engineering, with full-stack capability
• Proven experience architecting and building scalable distributed systems
• Comfortable owning foundational systems end-to-end — not just contributing to them
• Strong background in high-throughput, large-scale data processing
• Experience setting engineering best practices across system design, deployment, and reliability
• Track record of mentoring and levelling up junior engineers
• Hands-on with: Node.js, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS and/or GCP

Bonus points for:

• Experience in human-in-the-loop data systems or eval pipelines
• Previous high-growth or early-stage startup background
