ABOUT THE ROLE
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level UX Designer. This role will focus on designing user-centered digital experiences, improving usability, and supporting product development for a growing U.S.-based organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about user experience, design thinking, and building intuitive digital products.
The UX Designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and design teams to research user needs, create wireframes, and contribute to engaging and functional user experiences.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in UX design, product design, UI/UX, or digital experience design.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience, portfolio quality, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist in designing user experiences for web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Translate user needs into intuitive design solutions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams
- Support design iterations based on feedback and testing
- Maintain design systems and UI consistency
- Participate in brainstorming and product ideation sessions
- Analyze user behavior and suggest improvements
- Document design decisions and workflows

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, or related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in UX design, internships, or related projects
- Portfolio showcasing UX design work (academic, personal, or professional)
- Basic understanding of UX principles, usability, and design thinking
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and user-focused mindset
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, InVision, etc.)
- Basic understanding of UI design and visual design principles
- Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing
- Exposure to HTML/CSS or front-end basics
- Experience working on mobile or web app projects
