Job Description


Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Creative Manager to help lead the visual direction of the brand across campaigns, content, e-commerce, social, and key brand moments.


The Senior Creative Manager will be responsible for overseeing how Huega looks, feels, and communicates across all customer-facing channels. This person will bridge the gap between high-level brand vision and day-to-day creative execution. They will work closely across all departments and with external creative partners to bring the brand to life through strong visual storytelling.


They are responsible for setting the creative direction for how our brand should be visually and conceptually represented across all channels including photoshoots, paid ads, website, and social media.


Key Responsibilities

•     Help define and maintain Huega's visual identity across website, email, social, paid media, retail, packaging, and events.

•     Develop creative concepts for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling moments.

•     Review and approve artwork, layouts, and designs to ensure compliance with brand standards.

•     Manage project budgets and resources effectively to maximize efficiency and profitability.

•     Build moodboards, creative briefs, shot lists, visual references, and campaign direction.

•     Plan and manage photoshoots from concept through final asset delivery.

•     Coordinate with photographers, videographers, models, stylists, editors, and other creative partners.

•     Ensure shoots deliver the right mix of assets for e-commerce, social, email, paid ads, website, wholesale, and retail.

•     Review and approve creative assets to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with the brand.

•     Support creative direction for website updates, collection pages, product pages, email campaigns, and social content.

•     Ensure brand identity is maintained and consistent across all cross-functional meetings and execution.

•     Help organize and maintain a strong asset library for launches, campaigns, and evergreen brand needs.

•     Manage creative timelines and keep projects moving from brief to execution.


What We Are Looking For

Required

•     4 to 8+ years of experience in creative, brand, art direction, content, or visual production.

•     Experience with apparel, activewear, lifestyle, fashion, wellness, sports, or consumer brands.

•     Strong portfolio showing campaigns, photoshoot direction, social content, digital assets, and visual storytelling.

•     Strong eye for styling, composition, typography, color, layout, and overall brand presentation.

•     Experience managing shoots, creative partners, timelines, and asset delivery.

•     Strong understanding of social-first content, e-commerce creative, and launch campaigns.

•     Strong communication skills and ability to give clear creative feedback.


Nice to Have

•     Basic design ability in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar tools.

•     Experience with casting, styling, location scouting, and production planning.

•     Ability to capture light content when needed.

Details

Location: San Diego, CA (required). We are building toward an in-office team and are looking for someone local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
