Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer who combines strong test automation skills with a hands-on approach to manual testing. In this role, you will validate user stories manually before automating them, ensuring high-quality coverage, reliable automation, and fast feedback for the development team.

❗️ This role involves about 50% manual testing.

You will contribute to the development and quality assurance of a newly launched, multi-brand Sportsbook platform. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-concurrency environment, addressing the unique challenges associated with real-time data processing and rapid system scaling. The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced team of senior engineers and architects, taking direct ownership of the quality and reliability of key services.

✅ Responsibilities:

✔ Review business and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

✔ Perform manual functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing before automation implementation.

✔ Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.

✔ Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.

✔ Validate APIs, UI, and backend integrations across multiple environments.

✔ Participate in sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.

✔ Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

✔ Continuously improve QA processes, testing strategies, and automation coverage.

✔ Analyse test results and provide clear quality reports and risk assessments.

✔ Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.

✅ Requirements:

✔ 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.

✔ Upper-intermediate level of English (B2) for effective team communication.

✔ Experience in building and maintaining test Automation Projects in C#/.NET.

✔ Proficiency in modern UI automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).

✔ Advanced API test automation skills.

✔ Understanding of HTTP protocols, GraphQL, and WebSockets.

✔ Experience with non-relational Databases. Writing complex aggregation pipelines.

✔ Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.

✅ Nice to Have:

✔ Experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).

✔ Knowledge of performance and load testing principles.

✔ High level of self-organization

✔ Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

✔ Capacity to translate high-level requirements into structured, executable automation strategies.
