Frontend Engineer – React / TypeScript / Next.js

Location: Fully Remote - Malta

Salary: Up to €70k + Bonus & Benefits

We’re partnered with a cutting-edge iGaming startup building high-performance platforms across Data, Engagement, and Customer Experience.

They’re looking for a Frontend Developer to work across two key areas: a modern back-office platform and a heavily customized analytics/dashboarding environment.

You’ll build scalable operational tooling, develop tailored data visualizations, and work within a cloud-native environment focused on performance, scalability, and technical excellence. With a clear progression toward Senior or Lead Frontend Engineer in place!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and maintain React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Next.js applications

• Develop back-office workflows, dashboards, and operational tooling

• Customize and extend analytics and dashboarding functionality

• Build custom visualizations and data-driven UI components

• Integrate APIs, authentication, and role-based access control

• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams

• Optimize applications for performance and usability

Key Skills:

• 4+ years frontend development experience

• Strong React & TypeScript expertise

• Experience with Tailwind and Next.js

• Strong understanding of state management and async data flows

• Experience with REST APIs and authentication systems

• Background working on complex admin or back-office platforms

• Comfortable working within large open-source codebases

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience with analytics or BI platforms

• Data visualization libraries (D3, ECharts, Plotly, Recharts)

• Python / Flask knowledge

• iGaming or data-heavy product experience

• Docker familiarity

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools
