About The Role:
The product owner is responsible for ensuring that LeadingReach’s products are held to a high customer and market standard and are easy and refreshing to use. The person in this role must be able to understand the product’s scope and define requirements of new or existing scope for our stakeholders, developers, QA, and customers. Equipped with a deep understanding of how LeadingReach products are used by our customers, the product owner must be able to wireframe new tools and workflows and provide feedback on existing feature sets in pursuit of the best user experience.
As a product owner, the person in this role is expected to develop and/or enhance their existing healthcare industry knowledge and bring it to bear in projects they are assigned. Product owners are expected to write user stories, create mock ups, perform and manage UAT, and provide prioritization for both new scope and technical debt. Additionally, product owners must have a good understanding of the software development life cycle using Agile, various test methodologies, and best practices and will be at the forefront of their implementation and continuous improvement across teams. To that end, a high level of communication and teamwork is expected.
What You Need:
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum (2) years working in a product discipline for a software product
- Experience scoping RESTful APIs and Single Web Page applications
- Working knowledge using JIRA for creating and maintaining user stories or a similar tool (Rally)
- Experience with Scrum and Kanban or similar Agile development methodologies
- Experience in healthcare domain with knowledge of HIPAA, Meaningful Use, MIPS/MACRA, HL7, CCD/C-CDA, Electronic Health Records System Integrations etc. a plus

Skill & Ability:
- Intermediate level of writing user stories or specifications
- Intermediate level with JIRA or similar Agile management tool like Rally
- Intermediate use of AI tools (LLMs, in-product AI augments, etc.)
- Intermediate level in creating mock ups and wireframes
- Ability to prioritize and work concurrently on multiple tasks
- Must have a positive “can-do” attitude and treat everyone with a high level of respect
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
