Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud & Microservices Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native applications and hybrid cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, containerization, DevOps practices, and modern microservices architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities

Cloud Solution Development

• Design and develop scalable hybrid cloud solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
• Manage full application stacks, from operating systems to custom-built applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to design networks, systems, and storage solutions.

Application Development

• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot.

• Build scalable and resilient APIs and backend services.
• Implement event-driven integrations using Kafka and related technologies.

AWS & Cloud Engineering

• Work extensively with AWS services including EKS, API Gateway, Glue, Athena, and related cloud components.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Support cloud-native deployments and operational excellence.

DevOps & Automation

• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and Ansible.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python and scripting languages.

Architecture & Scalability

• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability software services.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and service-level expectations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Work within Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and EKS.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python.
• Experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and API management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and Ansible.
