Senior System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer

Our internal systems and infrastructure are a core part of how we operate and interact with clients, and we are building a strong in-house IT team to support and scale these systems.

We are looking for a strong System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience across Microsoft ecosystem, on-premise infrastructure, and cloud environments.

This role combines infrastructure support, user environment management, and participation in ongoing improvements of our IT systems.

• Support and maintain internal IT infrastructure, including on-premise virtual environment (VMware ESXi with SAN over MPIO iSCSI) and cloud resources (AWS, Azure, Exchange Online)

• Maintain and troubleshoot network and physical infrastructure, including Fortinet equipment (FortiGate, FortiSwitch), Wi-Fi (Ubiquiti), printers (MFPs), and basic access control systems

• Manage end-user environment based on Windows 11 Pro within Active Directory, with ongoing migration to Azure AD (Intune, Microsoft Defender for Business, Purview)

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, user and access management, security and compliance policies)

• Support and maintain corporate IP telephony based on Asterisk / FreePBX

• Provide remote support to users in international offices (UK, Nigeria)

• Participate in planning, improvement, and scaling of infrastructure (both on-premise and cloud)

• Strong experience administering Windows 10/11 environments in an Active Directory domain

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, access policies, Intune, and security tools (Defender / Purview)

• Professional experience with Exchange Online; experience migrating from Google Workspace is an advantage

• Good working knowledge of Google Workspace (user and service management, email, Vault, retention policies)

• Experience supporting business applications, including accounting systems (1C Enterprise 8.3+); experience with ADA / Payroll systems is a strong plus

• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu / Debian)

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, STP/RSTP); experience with Fortinet is a plus

• Good understanding of information security fundamentals (access control, policies, PKI, certificates, digital signatures)

• Basic experience with DevOps / infrastructure tools (databases, Docker, web servers, Git, monitoring/logging)

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with users

• Experience with Jira Service Desk / Jira / Slack / Trello is an advantage
