As a member of our team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the databases, reporting systems, and operational workflows that help coaches, analysts, league administrators, and other key decision-makers interact with data more efficiently. You’ll collaborate with both technical staff and end users to support tools and processes that directly impact high-level decision-making in competitive environments. We’re currently looking for both full and part-time team members.
The Role and Expectations
- As either a full-time or part-time employee (or contractor, if applicable), you will play a central role in supporting and maintaining HDI’s internal and client-facing data systems and products. Team members in this role are expected to:

- Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies, missing information, or reporting issues.
- Support and help improve internal applications and client-facing products used by HDI clients.
- Write and maintain SQL queries and python scripts with strong documentation.
- Collaborate with technical staff and end users to troubleshoot issues and improve operational processes.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of HDI’s product offerings.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that prioritizes maintainability, security, and performance.
- This position is 100% remote. Applicants must live in and be authorized to work in the United States.
- Some possible travel involved, but only when agreed upon by employee and supervisor.
- Individuals in this role will report to a manager as assigned and work regularly with other members of the HDI team. Must be a team player.
