Curious Packet is a US-based product and engineering consultancy. We build and operate digital products for clients internationally. This role is embedded on one of our core client engagements: CarmateKH, Cambodia's live automotive marketplace — connecting buyers, sellers, and official dealerships in real time.

You'll be working fully remotely from Pakistan, collaborating directly with the founding engineer.

The Role

We're looking for our first dedicated QA engineer. You'll be responsible for testing the full product across the consumer website, admin tools, and Seller Central — catching bugs before users do, writing clear bug reports, and working directly with the engineering team to raise the quality bar.

This is not an automated-testing-only role. You'll do deep manual exploration, own regression cycles before every release, and help build test coverage from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Manually test new features and bug fixes across web and mobile browsers

• Write detailed, reproducible bug reports with steps, screenshots, and logs

• Run regression test suites before each release

• Test REST APIs using Postman — verify requests, responses, status codes,

 and edge cases

• Maintain test case documentation in Notion / Google Sheets

• Collaborate daily with the engineering team via Slack and GitHub Issues

• Flag UX and flow inconsistencies, not just functional bugs

What We're Looking For

• 0–2 years of QA, software testing, or web development experience

• Solid understanding of how web applications work (HTTP, browser DevTools,

 REST APIs)

• Experience with Postman or any API testing tool

• Sharp eye for detail — you notice things others miss

• Clear, concise written communication in English

• Bonus: familiarity with JavaScript, SQL queries, or any test automation tool

• Bonus: experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues)

• Salary: PKR 60,000 – 100,000 / month (based on experience)
