Job Description
Job Title: Network Engineer โ Consultant (11029)
Location: Blythewood, South Carolina (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview Process: 2 Rounds (Onsite Required for One or Both Rounds)
Total Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Relocation Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in SC, NC, or GA and relocate within 40 miles of Blythewood, SC before start date at their own expense.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise networking products
- Troubleshoot network failures and identify root causes of connectivity issues
- Perform network analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and support
- Support and maintain statewide network infrastructure environments
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal network availability
- Maintain and update network diagrams and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues within voice-integrated infrastructure environments
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and maintain compliance standards
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and informal training to team members
- Support multiple simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced NOC environment
- Travel to various SCDMV field offices during business hours using a state vehicle

- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Routers
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Switches

- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- 2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
- Strong troubleshooting and network support experience
- Experience working in enterprise NOC environments
