Responsibilities and deliverables:

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and scale IT systems, security, device management, and user support across a fast-growing organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about building secure, scalable IT environments while driving automation, process improvement, and operational excellence in a remote-first setting.

Compensation: $7–$8/hour.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own and manage core IT operations, including identity/access management and endpoint security.
• Manage MDM/EDR platforms such as Jamf to ensure compliance and secure device deployment.
• Implement and maintain SSO/IdP integrations across tools like Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, AWS, and GCP.
• Provide IT support for access issues, installations, troubleshooting, and user experience improvements.
• Automate onboarding and offboarding workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Oversee enterprise software management, vendor coordination, license optimization, and procurement governance.
• Manage the complete laptop lifecycle, including provisioning, refresh, and deprovisioning.
• Partner with Talent Ops, Finance, and Security teams on onboarding, compliance, and budgeting initiatives.
• Continuously improve IT documentation, workflows, and operational scalability.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of MDM/EDR platforms and endpoint management.
• Hands-on experience with SSO/IdP integrations and SaaS ecosystems.
• Background in enterprise software and vendor management.
• Ability to drive automation and improve operational processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in startup or high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with IT automation tools and workflow optimization.
