A leading European tech marketplace is expanding its Android Platform team in Barcelona and is looking for Senior Android Engineer who want to work on complex engineering problems at massive scale — while relocating to one of Europe’s most attractive tech hubs.
This is not a feature-delivery role.
You would join the team responsible for the foundations of the Android ecosystem itself: build systems, developer experience, CI/CD, modularization, release infrastructure, tooling, performance, and scalability across a product used by millions of users and supported by a 10+ year Android codebase with 50+ modules.
The company operates one of the largest second-hand marketplace platforms in Southern Europe, handling hundreds of millions of listings and a huge volume of daily interactions across mobile-first products. The engineering culture is highly product-driven, platform-oriented, and focused on scalability, autonomy, and technical excellence.
