This is a permanent opportunity for an Account Manager to acquire, activate and maintain a healthy number of active partner's in the Western Australia Region (Perth), the role will work closely with the businesses' partner network, with a blend of account management and warm business development within the partner network.

Role responsibilities

  • Account portfolio development – acquiring, activating and maintaining a healthy number of active partners in the assigned region.
  • New business development – prospecting, qualifying of new potential end users from within the partner network.
  • Proposing the right solution to end-user prospects with the aim to generate opportunities which lead to a proposal inquiry with one of the sales partners.
  • Assisting the Partners in moving the identified end-user opportunities through the sales cycle with the aim to win the opportunity for the business.
  • Account management – manage and support the partners with training, information and technical support.
  • Being responsible that all Partners have the necessary product certifications in place to be able to sell the respective business products.
  • Keeping the BDM in the territory informed about all opportunities the Partner generates and assign those opportunities in CRM.
  • Ongoing analysis of sales performance of partners to continually improve the businesses revenue potential. This includes continuous evaluation of weak partners to decide whether they need further support or if they need to be excluded from the Sales Partner Network.
  • Actively looks for new initiatives and activities to help accelerate the growth of the partner’s capacity to sell our products.
  • Providing technical, sales and marketing assistance to the partners.


Your key attributes & experience needed

  • Minimum 3 + years experience in sales as an Account Manager OR Account Executive OR Partner Manager OR Channel Manager within technology based businesses
  • Experience in organizations that sell technology solutions (Hardware + Software SAAS)
  • Sales experience within a business that sell's Technology hardware e.g. server, networking, telecommunications, storage, compute, physical hardware, Unified communications, any form of hardware that integrates with software or can be sold with software
  • Proven track record in Key Account Management, Partner management, sales, or related roles within a technology business
  • Ability and willingness to travel interstate if required (Not frequent)
  • Ambitious & self-driven nature to succeed
