Senior Presales Engineer โ€“ AI Observability Start Up Vendor

Location: Anywhere in India (Remote)

StealthWatch are working exclusively with a fast-growing AI observability vendor that is redefining how enterprises monitor, optimise, and govern AI systems in production. Backed by strong funding and already working with enterprise customers globally, the business is now scaling its technical go-to-market team across India.


We are looking for a Senior Presales Engineer who combines deep technical credibility with strong customer-facing communication skills. This is a high-impact role working closely with enterprise customers, sales leadership, product teams, and solution architects to help organisations successfully deploy and scale AI applications with confidence.


The Role


As a Senior Presales Engineer, you will act as the technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, helping customers understand the value of AI observability, model monitoring, LLM governance, and production AI performance management.

You will lead technical discovery sessions, run product demonstrations, support proof-of-concepts, and work closely with customers to solve complex AI infrastructure and observability challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with enterprise sales teams to drive technical engagements across the full sales cycle
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and stakeholders
  • Lead proof-of-concept deployments and technical evaluations
  • Translate customer business challenges into scalable technical solutions
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay market feedback and customer requirements
  • Support RFPs, technical documentation, and architecture discussions
  • Act as a trusted advisor on AI/ML infrastructure, observability, monitoring, and governance best practices
  • Build relationships with data science, platform engineering, MLOps, and AI engineering teams


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Presales / Solutions Engineering / Sales Engineering
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows, LLMs, MLOps, or observability platforms
  • Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Technical knowledge across APIs, Kubernetes, data platforms, or modern infrastructure tooling
  • Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers is highly desirable


Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI observability, monitoring, or telemetry platforms
  • Exposure to vector databases, inference pipelines, or GenAI applications
  • Familiarity with Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Arize, LangSmith, Weights & Biases, or similar tooling
