Job Overview

We are looking for a forward-thinking and data-driven SEO Specialist (with a strong focus on AI Search & GEO) to join our global team. In this role, you won't just be focusing on traditional search engines; you will be the pioneer of our visibility in the age of AI. You will bridge the gap between our traditional artistry and the modern digital ecosystem, ensuring that Art Masterclass is the top answer when users search on Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and beyond. This role is perfect for an SEO strategist who understands that search is evolving rapidly, and who knows how to adapt content, technical structures, and digital PR for both traditional SEO and modern Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and workshop bookings across our global sites.
• AI & GEO Optimization: Optimize our digital footprint to ensure Art Masterclass is highly visible and recommended within AI search tools, conversational engines, and LLMs (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
• Keyword & Intent Research: Conduct deep keyword and search-intent research, identifying trends related to experiential marketing, arts and crafts, and global tourism.
• Content Optimization: Collaborate with content and creative teams to ensure all landing pages, blog posts, and copy are optimized for high visibility, readability, and user engagement.

• Technical SEO & Audits: Monitor and maintain website health, ensuring fast loading speeds, proper schema markup, mobile responsiveness, and clean site architecture.
• Link Building & Digital PR: Execute strategic link-building campaigns and digital PR initiatives to boost domain authority and brand credibility.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on organic growth metrics using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and AI visibility trackers.
• Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitor strategies in both traditional and AI-driven search environments to keep us steps ahead.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, with a strong, demonstrable understanding of AI search behavior and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency in standard SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console) and web analytics (GA4).
• AI Literacy: Hands-on experience using and optimizing content for LLMs and conversational AI platforms.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, structured data (Schema.org), and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
• Content Sense: Ability to distinguish between low-quality AI content and high-quality, SEO-optimized human storytelling that resonates with real people.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to coordinate with our remote, international team.
• Adaptability: A proactive learner who thrives in the fast-paced, constantly shifting landscape of digital search.
