Job Description

Salesforce QA Engineer (QA / Regression) – 100% Remote

I'm partnering with a rapidly scaling technology company experiencing a period of hyper‑growth. They’ve built a cloud‑based workforce management platform that supports large, complex live event operations—centralizing scheduling, communication, compliance, and payroll into a single system. Their mobile app and browser‑based portal provide real‑time visibility and end‑to‑end labor management for crews, managers, and production teams.

They are seeking a Salesforce QA with Regression experience to join the team full‑time. This is a fully remote role that plays a critical part in ensuring platform stability, quality, and release readiness across their Salesforce environment.

Position Overview

The Salesforce Developer (QA/Regression) will own test planning, automation coverage, and regression execution for ongoing platform releases. This role collaborates closely with engineering, product, and cross‑functional stakeholders to validate features, maintain automation suites, and support smooth production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA strategy, test planning, and full regression execution for platform releases
  • Build and maintain automated test suites (AccelQ experience preferred)
  • Conduct release readiness assessments and provide go/no-go recommendations
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and Product Managers on acceptance criteria
  • Document defects, test plans, and workflows in Confluence
  • Support testing of compliance-related workflows, including labor rules and payroll logic
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with distributed QA resources
  • Contribute to building a scalable QA practice aligned with the company’s growth trajectory

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QA or software testing experience (Salesforce environment preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools; AccelQ or similar platforms a plus
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, flows, and Apex-driven logic
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes, defect tracking, and release management
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, App Builder, etc.)
  • Experience in payroll, labor compliance, or financial systems testing
  • Exposure to live events, sports media, broadcast production, or related platforms
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows and Gearset-based deployments

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $110,000
  • Full-time, exempt, direct hire
