Job Description

Our client takes a holistic approach to build robots; all components of the robots are developed in-house including motors, transmissions, sensors, electronics, controls, and AI. Our client work with hardware, and as such, candidates need to be located in proximity to the office in Oslo or Moss.

A relocation package will be provided to the candidates who are willing to relocate to Moss.

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer, Production Tooling for their growing team.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools to simplify, semi-automate, or fully automate manual procedures during android production
  • Develop tools for robot configuration at scale
  • Work together with the entire Software team to improve code quality using linting, unit testing, CI/CD, etc
  • Take on varied roles or tasks as needed, demonstrating a can-do attitude, especially in high-demand situations


Candidate Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of relevant practical experience
  • Experience with with a modern compiled programming language suited for backend development (RUST, Golang, Kotlin, etc.)
  • Experience with creating frontend applications using various frameworks
  • Experience with hardware in the loop testing
  • Experience with CI/CD to fully automate integration and delivery
  • Experience with software engineering best-practices (linting, code-review, unit and integration testing)

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Experience with C++/Python/Java
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with metrics and/or logging frameworks for remote system monitoring
  • Experience developing for cloud or fog
