This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President, Human Resources in the United States.

This is a high-impact executive leadership role responsible for designing, scaling, and leading the people strategy during a period of rapid organizational growth. You will serve as the architect of the full HR ecosystem, shaping everything from talent acquisition and performance management to employee relations, total rewards, and organizational culture. Acting as a strategic partner to the executive team and a hands-on builder, you will ensure the organization can attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent in a highly competitive technology environment. This role blends strategic vision with operational execution, requiring both leadership maturity and a willingness to directly engage in complex HR challenges. You will also play a critical role in strengthening leadership capability, defining scalable HR systems, and reinforcing a high-performance, values-driven culture. This is a fully remote position, best suited for a leader who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, build, and develop a high-performing HR team while defining clear goals, operating rhythms, and performance standards for the function
  • Act as a hands-on HR leader across all domains, providing coaching and support to both HR team members and business leaders
  • Oversee employee relations, managing complex and high-risk cases including performance issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Partner with Legal and executive leadership to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risk in sensitive employee matters
  • Design and implement scalable performance management systems aligned with organizational objectives and leadership expectations
  • Champion culture and engagement through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and actionable organizational development initiatives
  • Lead talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, and employer branding to support significant headcount growth
  • Own HR operations, including HRIS/ATS systems, onboarding programs, and compliance with employment laws and policies
  • Develop and manage total rewards programs, including compensation structures, equity planning, and benefits strategy
  • Partner closely with Finance on budgeting, compensation cycles, and workforce planning decisions

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles at Director, VP, or senior HR business partner level
  • Strong background in high-growth technology, SaaS, or similarly fast-scaling environments
  • Proven experience building HR systems, processes, and organizational infrastructure from the ground up or during periods of rapid change
  • Deep expertise in employee relations, compensation design, performance management, and HR compliance
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively with Finance, Legal, and executive leadership teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and trust-building ability
  • Experience leading or scaling HR functions in PE- or VC-backed environments is highly valued
  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR certifications such as SHRM or PHR/SPHR are preferred
