Web3 Developer / Blockchain Engineer

This role is responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of the company’s Web3-related systems, including smart contracts, on-chain fund interactions, wallet systems, deposit and withdrawal flows, on-chain data synchronization, and contract security mechanisms.

This is not purely a smart contract development role. The candidate is expected to collaborate closely with Web2 backend engineers, product managers, technical leads, security consultants, and audit teams to ensure a balance between fund security, on-chain transparency, user experience, and system stability.

• Design and develop the platform’s Web3 modules, including but not limited to:
• Smart contract development
• Wallet system integration
• Deposit and withdrawal flows
• On-chain fund collection
• Blockchain transaction monitoring
• Contract event synchronization
• Integration between on-chain data and Web2 backend systems
• Design secure, stable, and scalable blockchain interaction solutions based on product requirements.
• Handle BSC/EVM-compatible chain development, including:
• Smart contract deployment
• On-chain interaction
• Gas fee optimization
• Transaction confirmation mechanisms
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate Web2 and Web3 systems, ensuring on-chain fund changes are accurately synchronized with the platform account system.
• Participate in the design and risk assessment of core financial modules such as deposits, withdrawals, settlements, and fund aggregation.
• Work with security consultants and audit firms to prepare smart contracts for audits, including code standardization, vulnerability review, and issue remediation.
• Design handling mechanisms for blockchain-related abnormal scenarios, including:
• Failed transactions
• Duplicate callbacks
• Deposits not credited
• Withdrawal processing failures
• Delayed blockchain confirmations
• User operational mistakes
• Abnormal smart contract states

• Participate in defining Web3 technical standards, including:
• Contract permissions
• Private key management
• Multi-signature mechanisms
• Fund security strategies
• Stay updated with Web3 industry developments and continuously improve contract security, wallet interaction, blockchain risk control, and asset custody solutions.

• Minimum 3 years of backend or blockchain development experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on Web3/smart contract development experience.
• Strong understanding of the EVM ecosystem and practical experience with Solidity smart contract development.
• Familiar with major EVM-compatible chains such as BSC, Ethereum, and Polygon.
• Proficient in at least one backend programming language:
• Node.js
• Go
• Java
• Python
• Rust
• Familiar with common Web3 tools and frameworks, such as:
• Hardhat
• Foundry
• Remix
• Web3.js
• Ethers.js
• OpenZeppelin
• Strong understanding of wallet systems, private keys, mnemonic phrases, signatures, authorization mechanisms, smart contract interactions, and event monitoring.
• Strong security awareness and understanding of common smart contract risks, including:
• Reentrancy attacks
• Permission vulnerabilities
• Integer overflows
• Oracle risks
• Authorization abuse

• Contract upgrade risks

• Candidates with experience in blockchain deposits/withdrawals, fund aggregation, wallet systems, transaction monitoring, or payment systems are preferred.
• Experience in gaming, trading platforms, wallets, payments, GameFi, DeFi, exchanges, or financial systems is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Backend, QA, Security Consultants, and Audit teams.

• Experience building complete Web3 projects from 0-to-1.
• Experience with smart contract launches, audits, vulnerability fixes, and mainnet deployments.
• Familiarity with multi-signature wallets, Gnosis Safe, MPC wallets, or asset custody solutions.
• Experience in blockchain risk control, anti-fraud systems, anti-abuse mechanisms, or abnormal transaction monitoring.
• Experience with hybrid Web2 + Web3 architectures.
• Experience in gaming, betting platforms, P2P gaming, prediction systems, GameFi, or points/reward systems.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets, overseas products, or multilingual platform development is a plus.

Web3 development is not just about building features — security of funds, permissions, contracts, and user assets must always come first.

Able to integrate blockchain logic with real Web2 systems, rather than only building demos or testnet prototypes.

Able to proactively identify real-world operational risks such as failed deposits, withdrawal errors, blockchain delays, data inconsistencies, and user mistakes.

Able to work efficiently with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Backend Engineers, QA teams, Security Consultants, and Audit teams.

Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with proactive execution, quick response times, and results-oriented thinking.

Salary is negotiable and will be evaluated based on technical capability, experience, and overall project fit.
