Senior Business Analyst - SAP and Agentic AI

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (10+ YEARS) with SAP knowledge and a forward-leaning orientation toward Agentic AI to join our Global Business Transformation Program. This is a high-impact role at the center of a multi-year initiative to modernize our foundational transactional processes and consolidate them onto a single, clean ERP platform designed as a standardized foundation for scalable growth and operational efficiency. **** CANDIDATES MUST COME OUT OF PHARMACUTICAL, MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY OR MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANIES OR HUGE ENTRPRISES LIKE FORTUNE 150/500. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE RECENT SAP AND DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAIN EXPERIENCE AND AI IS A HUGE PLUS. THE CLIENT WOULD LIKE SOMEONE IN THE NJ AREA BUT WILL CONSIDER CANDIDATES 100% REMOTE IN THE EASTERN TIME ZONE.

This is a high-impact role at the center of a multi-year initiative to modernize our foundational transactional processes and consolidate them onto a single, clean ERP platform designed as a standardized foundation for scalable growth and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and emerging AI capabilities translating complex process requirements into scalable, harmonized solutions while enabling the intelligent automation and autonomous decision-support that Agentic AI workflows deliver.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis

• Lead end-to-end analysis of current-state transactional processes across finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and/or HR domains, identifying redundancies and harmonization opportunities
• Facilitate structured process workshops with global business stakeholders to define future-state clean core SAP processes aligned to program standards
• Document detailed business requirements, process flows, data mappings, and functional specifications using industry-standard methodologies (BPMN, use case modeling, user stories)
• Drive fit-gap analysis between existing processes and SAP standard configurations, recommending build vs. configure trade-offs with a clean-core bias
  
  

SAP Solution Design & Delivery Support

• Partner with SAP functional architects and configuration teams to translate business requirements into compliant, scalable SAP S/4HANA designs
• Support UAT planning and execution: develop test scripts, coordinate business testers, track defects, and validate acceptance criteria
• Participate in data migration planning including data cleansing, transformation rules, and cutover readiness validation
• Contribute to change impact assessments and training content to support organizational readiness and adoption
  
  

Agentic AI Integration & Enablement

• Identify, prioritize, and document automation and AI augmentation opportunities across key transactional processes
• Define business requirements and acceptance criteria for Agentic AI workflows including autonomous task execution, multi-step decision chains, and exception-handling logic integrated with SAP
• Collaborate with data engineering and AI platform teams to ensure SAP data structures, APIs, and process triggers are designed to support agentic use cases
• Evaluate and validate AI agent outputs against business rules, audit requirements, and compliance standards
• Develop business-facing documentation and training materials to drive adoption of AI-assisted workflows
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Program Delivery

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business process owners and senior stakeholders across global regions
• Manage and communicate requirements traceability from business need through configuration, testing, and go-live
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and scope changes with clear impact assessments and mitigation recommendations
  
  

Operate effectively in an agile/hybrid delivery environment, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and PI planning ceremonies as applicable
